You’ve had a long life of less than satisfying manual labour jobs, so after watching an advert on TV you trained as a computer programmer to broaden your horizons (and income). It was only a couple of weeks before you realised you didn’t like programming but preferred hacking systems, so you became a recluse and hacked in the privacy of your own home (the Overlook hotel, which you’d inherited from Jack Senior). INTRODUCE YOURSELF AT THE START OF THE GAME BY READING THIS
I’m Jack, Jack Torrents. I live at the Overlook hotel, across the road. I’m currently writing a novel but interruption after interruption stops me from getting anything done. I do some I.T. work on the side too, but all work and no play is making Jack a dull boy. Fortunately LeGrinch always invites me to this hideous Christmas-fest. It’s not much but this place really gets going at night once everyone has gone to bed.
