ANNETTE HITITOVA

You've been invited to play the role of ANNETTE HITITOVA in A Little Murder, at the Manor. You’re invited to Heathcliff Manor, where Lord Heathcliff is hosting a small, intimate dinner party to celebrate his recent marriage. But before anyone can toast his happiness, Lord Heathcliff is killed with the candlestick in the pool room. Join us to solve the murder…

Your costume suggestion

You’re usually seen sporting a little white tennis dress and trainers - unless your dress is in the wash, in which case you opt for leggings, t-shirt and tracksuit jacket. In either case, you’re never without your racquet and a few balls.

About you...

BIO
Having a famous Slovakian tennis dad and a British Olympic shot-putting mum meant you’ve never really wanted for money - or energy. Born and bred in the sleepy village of Whitchurch in Bucks, you grew up practising tennis and shot-putting in the back garden acres. You preferred the ‘less strenuous’ activity of tennis, along with the body shape it promised, although your mum has never forgiven you. Tennis has paid for itself hundreds of times over though, and you almost made it to Wimbledon one year. Now you mainly teach.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF AT THE START OF THE GAME BY READING THIS
I’m Lord Heathcliff’s tennis coach, Annette Hititova. I’ve been teaching him for months so I’ll be sad now he’s gone. He’d almost got the hang of how to hold the racquet too. I was in the tanning room when I heard the news. I remember hearing my tears fizzle on the sunbed. Oh well, onwards and upwards. Anyone for tennis after all this ghastly business is out of the way?
