You've been invited to play the role of WALKER PONY in Murder at Berryam Stables. A murder mystery set in the fast-paced world of horse racing. World famous jockey Franklie D’Orsy is guest of honour at a party celebrating his 99th straight win. But before his guests can toast his success, he is found dead in the stables, strangled with his own whip! You are invited to join us to help solve the mystery of the “Murder at Berryam Stables”.

Your costume suggestion

Stable Hand (he’s only able to muck out the stables!) Costume Suggestions : Looking after the stables is a tough job, so you’re almost always found wearing big plaid fleeces, waterproof trousers and Wellingtons. You have a habit of chewing on bits of hay, grass or anything else to keep yourself occupied and your tweed flat cap shows you’re trying to fit in with the others.

As a stable hand at Berryam Stables it’s my responsibility to make sure all the horses are in peak condition to carry Franklie D’Orsy first past the post. One day I hope to have a stables of my own but, until then, I’m more than happy to stay where I am because I love the people I work with so much.
