You’ve led a wild and adventurous life - taming lions in the Serengeti, stealing gems from the Winter Palace in St Petersburg, and sword fighting with a high-ranking member of the Roman Catholic church. Alas, all that was brought to an end by a vicious hamstring injury. Now you’re a librarian who lives out her fantasies through books.

Buona sera, I am Alona Novella - mistress of the mysteries, ruler of the romances, keeper of the cookbooks. Which is to say, I run the local library. I’m devastated by Karl Ickbread’s murder. He and Bella Morte are both big supporters of the library. I only wish I could have thanked him before he died but alas, I had a library convention at the Hotel Bambino and by the time I got here he was already dead.
