Namaste. I am Rowan Weeds. On the physical plane, I am a layer of lawns, a shaper of shrubberies, a bury-er of bulbs. That is to say, I am Lady Cattersley’s gardener. But on the spiritual plane, I am one with all that surrounds me—like that lamp, or those shoes. As an orphan, I’ve been hit hard by Lady Cattersley’s murder. Our lives are tangled like vines but alas, now she is mulch.
